Wildhive Callow Hall wedding photos

Now THIS is a wedding venue and as a photographer, Wildhive Callow Hall is an amazing place for your photos! OMG – what a transformation of a wedding venue! Callow Hall has been a long standing feature of the Derbyshire countryside and was always a beautiful wedding venue. I grew up near by and always played my sax at their New Years evening events when I was growing up. But now it’s had a transformation, and OMG, it’s stunning!!! The old world charm of a lovely old market town, meets woodland adventures, with a touch of contemporary glass fusion thrown in there too! What more could you want for a wedding venue here in Derbyshire.

It still has the stunning Victorian country house with is beautiful grounds, 11 beautiful old bedrooms and a real air of class. However now, the new owners have added the ‘wild’ element. 2 treehouses and 11 woodland hives to stay in on your wedding night. These are amazing and add that litte bit of extra cool to a venue that is already pretty damn cool. There’s also a brand new glass atrium in which to sit and have your wedding breakfast with a view over Derbyshire countryside.

Then, add into the mix that you can get married outside, in the middle of the manicured gardens and you’ve got it all. As a photographer, I’m not sure what else you could as for, for your Wildhive Callow Hall photos.

What a beautiful day. It’s not very often you get luck with the good old British weather, but this was a truly STUNNING day. Blue skies and sunshine all afternoon. It was glorious. Watching Debbie and Ian say their vows outside, in that beautiful landscape was so lovely. You couldn’t have asked for a nicer setting for these two beautiful people. So warm, kind, loving and a real pleasure to hang out with and chat to. I thoroughly loved being there for the afternoon with them. From what I hear it was an awesome party too!!! 🙂
