THE SCOOP

01.

Type?

What type of confetti

  • Avoid the small dried flowers. They look pretty in a basket, but when thrown, they either disappear into thin air or end up stuck in your hair or down your top. Either is a pain!
  • The biodegradable paper circles look great in photos. They hang in the air longest. I highly recommend big handfuls of Flutter Darlings Confetti
  • Confetti canons add an extra bit of magic. You only need a couple of the big ones, but they look great! Confetti Master is your place for these. Nominate a couple of responsible guests and let them go to town!

02.

What Colour?

What’s your style?

Colour isn’t as important. Get whatever you fancy. I’d usually recommend either going neutral white, or spice things up with full rainbow magic, like a cosmic unicorn has just vomited loveliness everywhere – Either will look amazing!

How Much?

Is there such a thing as too much?

Nope! You can never have too much. Make sure there’s enough for each guest to grab a good handful. Don’t skimp – The more, the better. Simples.

Top Tip – Storage

Don’t waste your money on pretty cones or bags for the confetti. No one ever remembers these – Instead, pop it all in a nice big box and let people grab handfuls. One less pre-wedding job to do. You’re welcome.

Top Tip – Delagate

Get your groomsmen or bridesmaids to hand it out, and make sure they don’t stop until it’s all gone. Don’t leave any behind!

Now
It’s your turn!

By now, you’ve bought the right confetti, and your guests have been briefed on how to throw it. All that’s left is for you two to nail this shot. Here’s what you need to do…

01

Walk, don’t run

Embrace this moment – You’re never going to do it again, so walk, skip and dance down the confetti tunnel, just don’t run!

02

Stop for a smooch

Get your other half to grab you for a quick kiss as you get halfway down the tunnel. Your friends will go nuts, and it’ll look amazing.

03

Don’t eat it

You’ve not bought the tiny dried flowers, right?! So don’t worry – I doubt you’re going to inhale it. Smile, enjoy the moment and don’t hide your beautiful faces from the confetti shower; otherwise, the camera can’t see you.
