Miriam and Joe had their Manchester Museum wedding this month and everyone had an amazing time! 😀
Some people get married in a country house or a barn, others on a lake-side in Italy – Miriam and Joe are epic dinosaur lovers and if you’re going to have a dinosaur wedding, THIS is the place to do it!! It was amazing!
We’d only ever met Miriam and Joe via skype, but even after our brief chats online, we knew this day was going to be pretty damn cool, different, but awesome. Miriam was getting ready up the road in the nearby Midland Hotel – I jumped in a taxi and headed over to hang out with her and the girls for a couple of hours before the ceremony. There was a lot happening but in the calmest way possible. The girls were all sorting out their nails while Miriam had her hair and makeup done. Lots of giggles and fun, which is always how we like to start the day.
Time marched on, so we jumped into the wedding cars (I even had my own personal ‘photographers wedding carriage’ due to a mix up with the car company – I like to arrive in style!!) and made our way through Manchester to the Museum. Joe and his guys had already greeted all the guests, so everyone was sitting comfortably under Stan the T-Rex (yes, that’s right, a T-Rex!!) eagerly awaiting the arrival of Miriam.
The weather sucked – it was raining on and off all afternoon, so we picked our moments and dashed outside for a few group photos before it was dinner time. We decided to leave some of our couple portraits until after dinner when we had a little bit more time and it was awesome to be able to play amongst with all the exhibits!
