I love being at Holmewood Hall for a day of wedding photography. It’s such an amazing wedding venue set in the heart of the Peterborough countryside.

It’s an amazing Tudor Gothic style mansion, set in 10 acres of beautifully manicured grounds and is a wedding venue at which that I absolutely love to photograph. There are all sort of pockets of light around the venue, lots of little nooks and crannies for beautiful portraits and it’s an awesome place to be a Holmewood Hall Wedding Photographer.

Yunfei was getting ready in one of the on-site cottages, before heading over to the bridal suite for her final hair and makeup preparations. The bridal prep room there at Holmewood Hall is perfect for wedding photography. Nice high ceilings and lots of lovely windows…we can’t really ask for anything more. It’s stunning!  Then, that long walk with her dad down the old wooden staircase was lovely. A very fitting red carpet to celebrate the traditional Chinese colours of marriage down the stairs was a happy and very welcomed coincidence. It perfectly set the scene for this beautiful Chinese wedding. With Yutao patiently waiting with his family in the Gold room, it was finally time these two beauties tied the knot!

The rest of the day was filled with so much fun – lots of food, some photos in the grounds, all leading up the the party where Yunfei and Yutao had beautifully choreographed their first dance to be held under the grand staircase.

It was my first time there at Holmewood Hall as a wedding photographer, and I absolutely loved it!
