The great thing about Foxtail Barns is that you can have your hair and makeup done right in their on-site bridal prep room. No trips to the salon, no creased dresses in the car — just wander in wearing your wedding robe and enjoy being pampered while your guests start to arrive.
They’ve even added a brand-new grooms’ room called “The Foxes Den”, giving the guys a place to chill out, enjoy a beer, and get ready without the stress of travelling or turning up late.
THE CEREMONY
I think this has to be one of the best features of Foxtail Barns – The Ceremony Room. The botanical-inspired orangery is flooded with beautiful natural light, so your ceremony will look almost ethereal as you bathe in sunshine while saying your vows.
ACCOMMODATION
If you need a wedding venue that has Accommodation, you’re all set! Foxtail Barns has so many options.
- Woodland Pods – There are 18 doubles, each with a double bed, shower, WC and TV, but honestly, turn off the TV and just enjoy being in nature. There are also 2 family rooms.
- The Tawny. A state-of-the-art hotel, right next door, where luxury and nature seamlessly blend together for a perfect place to stay before and after the wedding.

You’re spoilt for choice when it comes to photos at Foxtail Barns. If you want to keep things chilled, we can simply hang out in the walled garden—shooting through all the soft grasses always makes for beautifully relaxed wedding shots.
Or we can head off for a little wander and explore the woodland and gardens. It’s especially stunning after dinner, when the light softens and you get that gorgeous golden-hour glow. It’s the perfect moment to slip away for a few quiet photos without anyone even noticing before heading back for the first dance.
