Oh my days….. it’s December!!!

The year so far…

Blimey where does time go, I can’t believe it’s December. So much has happened this year, Ben has photographed lots of gorgeous weddings, 65 so far this year, one was our cousin, one bride had a dress with the longest train I’ve ever seen and lots of sparkling bridesmaids, another with a diamonte turban, one with a Choccywokkydoda cake, and we’ve been to lots of new venues which is always great.

Here’s Louisa’s stunning dress with the HUGE train, she looked amazing and those bridesmaids dresses – LOVE them. 😀

Autumnal festival shoot

In September we headed over to Yoxall for a gorgeous Tipi photoshoot and Open Day at Field & Forest, there was a serious Autumnal feel to the shoot, a stunning dress from Watters and just look at those flowers from the always talented Nadia Di Tullio. Here’s the full woodland shoot

Engagement Shoot

Back to the present and last month, we’ve went off to Birmingham for an engagement shoot with the gorgeous Renna & Ben who get married at The West Mill early next year. It was absolutely freezing, but we had such a laugh with these two, and the warm-up cup of tea at the end was most welcome and really enjoyable – they are a great couple and we have so much to chat about 😀

Masters of Wedding photography

Last month we felt very privileged to win a Masters of Wedding Photography award for this photo. Fran & Gavin had their wedding day at The West Mill – they smiled like this all day long! 😍

One of Ben’s images has been featured by ‘Magmod’ (a maker of camera equipment) for this image of Mary’s stunning eyes during her bridal preps at The Cavendish in Baslow near Chatsworth Hall.

red canon cameras logoAnd Canon has asked if they can feature this photo. It was taken at Shustoke Farm Barn, one of our favourite venues – the old barn, the olive trees, the location of the sunset at the end of the drive, the food, the staff – LOVE IT.

Christmas at HBA

So now we are looking forward to the last 3 weddings of the year, 3 lovely couples and one new venue – we can’t wait!! Everyone is coming to us for Christmas this year, so no doubt Ben will go all out on the decor and the food, but I’ve done my bit and made a wreath for the front door under Nadia Di Tullio‘s careful watch!

I hope you all have a lovely Christmas and we’ll hopefully catch up with you next year!!
