Derbyshire Wedding Photographers 2017 so far

Jeeeeez, how is it Spring already? Time is flying by 😆. As Derbyshire Wedding Photographers we try and take January off, but we had a really busy December so Ben had quite a bit of editing still to do and I had lots of beautiful albums to design and order from Queensberry. Here’s one of them….

Wedding Event With A Difference

So now it’s March, but in February we exhibited at WEWAD – the Save The Date wedding show. It was a fab day, lots of suppliers with such great ideas for weddings – it blows your mind! Lots of lovely couples too, we had some great chats about weddings (and dogs of course). It was great to see lots of our friends in the industry too – Geoff from Our Wedding Videographers, Jo from Josephine Way Makeup, Adele from April Delights and Amy from The Sugarpod Cakery. So many talented people!

Derbyshire Weddings

We’ve already photographed two weddings this year, one was for Rich & Ruth at Park Farmhouse near Castle Donington where despite it being January they had the most amazing day finished with a very special sunset – CLICK HERE to see it. Then on a Friday in February we were honoured to photograph the wedding of two of our good friends at Cressbrook Hall near Bakewell – we already knew a lot of the family at this wedding so it was a great day.

We’ve also been for a great engagement shoot with Alison & Karl and their awesome Frenchie “Mr Pigs” – CLICK HERE too see the full shoot! 😂

This month the wedding season begins for real for us and Ben’s heading to some great wedding venues – The West Mill, The Old Vicarage, Notts Trent Uni and Swancar Farm.

Food Photography

This month Ben has been photographing food for two lovely catering companies. Both Ben & I are big foodies (bloody hate that word but can’t think of a better one) so the opportunity to photograph food is a dream come true.

And finally like we don’t have our hands full with our two current dogs, Ben is now searching the internet for a puppy! He’s got his heart set on a Dogue de Bordeaux – the dog from Turner & Hooch 😂 Do you ever wonder what the hell you’ve got yourself into?! I should have known that marrying into the Appleby family was going to be a crazy ride!!

See you soon everyone!!
