If you’re planning your wedding at Hazel Gap Barn , you’ve chosen one of the most beautiful barn venues in Nottinghamshire for a winter wedding. Set on the Welbeck Estate and run by the Cripps & Co team, Hazel Gap blends rustic character with modern design and a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. In winter, the fires are lit, the Christmas tree is often up, and the whole venue just feels warm and cosy.

Sam and Calum are two of the lovliest people you’ll meet – Kind, welcoming and oozing a sense of adventure. As I write this, they’re enjoying Vanlife around New Zealand on an epic honeymoon!

Getting married in the winter presents its own set of challenges. You don’t know what the weather will do, or how the day will pan out, but as long as you embrace the craziness, you’re guaranteed a great time. Thankfully, Sam and Calum did just that. The weather sucked. Lots of rain and typical English weather, but thankfully, they picked a venue that’s perfect indoors in the winter.

Hazel Gap offers lots of space for your winter wedding photos, so if you can’t go outside for those iconic walks down the driveway, you’ve got an epicly beautiful red brick barn to play in instead. And we did just that.
