A Spring wedding at Hampton Manor

A Spring wedding at Hampton Manor – how have we never been here before? It is a stunning wedding venue and also has a fab restaurant! Georgina & Richard chose this beautiful place for their spring wedding and they struck gold with the weather!

Bridal preparations

We joined Georgina at her parent’s house for the morning preparations with 4 bridesmaids (3 with babies), 2 parents, a brother and the family dog!! It was a busy house! But a fun one and not at all chaotic which was nice! The girls were so relaxed they had their makeup done lying on the sofa -You can’t get much more relaxed than that!! Before we knew it, it was time to head off to Hampton Manor to see what Richard was up to.

The Wedding Day

Georgina & Richard got married in The Birches, a purpose built room for ceremonies, with lovely readings and lots of laughs and tears! Then out into the sunshine to get covered in confetti and drink fizz in the amazing spring weather!! It was the most stunningly beautiful day – so warm and lovely….it was a nice change to the long winter! Over at the house, the guests enjoyed the grounds, the canapés and the music while we did a few family photos and took the couple up the driveway for a bit of time together! The blossom was out and it looked stunning. Such a nice little walk for some photos. However, we often leave a lot of the portrait photos until later on in the day when the sun has gone down a little and is less harsh. Boy were we rewarded!! We had to most amazing golden hour sunlight that appeared and disappeared within a matter of minutes, so we quickly grabbed Georgina and Rich and headed towards to light! It was soooo worth it!!

We had such a fun day with you all – Everyone was sooooo lovely and made us feel very welcome. It was also great to see a few familiar faces from Kirsty and Luke’s wedding too 🙂
