Tipi wedding in the Peak District | James & Kate
A summer tipi wedding in the Peak District
A beautiful spot for a wedding
Castleton is located in the High Peak in the Peak District at the western end of the Hope Valley – it is a gorgeous spot and perfect for a countryside wedding. Conveniently a family member lives not too far away in the village of Bamford and they used the garden here as the location for the tipi.
DIY wedding decorations
We do love a tipi wedding and this one was no exception. They’re always great fun and the DIY elements really make the day come alive as everyone really gets involved in whats happening. Kate and James had lots of lovely decorations including…..
The wedding day
I’d met Kate & James a couple of days before their wedding and heard all the plans for the day so I knew it was going to be awesome. We had everything crossed that the sun would shine, and it certainly did – it was a beautiful day. We even jumped the garden wall into the next door field to get some lovey shots in the sunshine amongst the grass 🙂 After a lovely meal it was time for the speeches, followed my a surprise present from Kate’s mum… She’d only gone and bought her a car!! How awesome is that! 🙂
They’re such a lovely couple and we really enjoyed spending time with them both and the families and friends, and of course Corkey’s super cool dogs that roamed free on the day!
Here are a few of our favourites!
