Wedding photos at Wrenbury Hall | Sarah & Shaun
A beautiful wedding venue in Cheshire
Based in the little village of Wrenbury near Nantwich in Cheshire, the house dates back as far as the Domesday Survey, then in the 1900s it was used as a training centre by the Red Cross until it was bought and turned back into the family home that you see today. There’s the house itself full of history, the beautiful grounds and gardens and it also has a lovely orangery capable of seating 250 guests!
The wedding day
Well what can I say about Sarah and Shaun, other than this was one of the most enjoyable weddings I’ve shot in a long time, and it was all down to them and their families and friends!
So where do I start – we started out photographing Kirsty & Chris’ wedding a few years ago – Kirsty is Shaun’s sister. We then photographed a lovely couples wedding in 2013 called Lyndon and Lucy… Lucy is Sarah’s sister, and now here we are, photographing Sarah and Shaun’s wedding, which means we’ve already photographed both sides of the family before over the last 4 years, at two separate weddings and now they’re all together, it was a little reunion for me – How often does that happen!!! 🙂
I think its safe to say that Sarah and Shaun are a pretty photogenic couple – Sarah looks like she’s been a professional model for years and Shaun is a sportsman, as well as dark and handsome – What more could I ask for as a photographer – You made my life easy guys!!
So, I joined Sarah at her parents home for a few final bridal preparation photos before she got into that gorgeous dress while Gareth (my awesome assistant for the day) headed off to see what Shaun was up to at Wrenbury Hall. The sun was shining and it was a beautiful day and everyone had such a great time and we tried to make to most of the beautiful hotel for lots and lots of photo’s – Gareth and I even ended up rearranging pretty much a whole room of furniture to get a nice dramatic black and white shot! Well worth it 🙂
I could go on and on about how fantastic everyone was at this wedding – everyone made me feel like I was a friend shooting the wedding rather than a hired photographer, so thank you all for that – Hope we’ve done the day justice! Here are a few of our favorites from the day…
