We met Toby & Cat back in November last year after meeting them very briefly at a wedding fayre in Derby. I was really hopeful that they’d book us as they are a lovely couple and just up our street! Thankfully they did and on the morning of their wedding in Elvaston I joined Cat at her house, while Ben met the boys at the village pub before taking a short walk across country to the church with the guys. They got married at the church adjacent to Elvaston Castle and we were lucky enough to be able to take advantage of the castle gardens afterwards and even got a quick snap with them and their dog! They had borrowed Toby’s Dad’s classic MG for the ride back to Shottle Hall and made a grand entrance in it when they got there! Thankfully we had already set up the disco that morning so had chance to let everybody relax before arranging the group photos. The speeches after the meal were a riot thanks to Toby’s Best Man, who also happens to be his brother. I don’t think there was a dry eye in the house after he had finished! It was a wonderful day and Shottle Hall is a lovely Derbyshire wedding venue. We really enjoyed our time spent with Cat & Toby – and we just want to wish you good luck for the future, and in replacing your conifers guys!
