We met up with Ester at her Mum’s house to get the girl’s preparations before heading off to All Saints Church in Reading. Very friendly vicar who incidentally absolutely soaked Ester and Richard with holy water during the ceremony – they were literally dripping! For the reception they had booked The Odney Club in Cookham – this a fabulous venue just perfect for weddings, owned by the John Lewis Group for the use of their employees, it boasts 120 acres and includes lots of manicured gardens and to top it off the site runs adjacent to the River Thames – just beautiful!
