It was great to see Carlene and Luke again. We met up with them back in November for an Engagement Photoshoot at Calke Abbey, Derbyshire and spent the morning in the autumn sunshine getting some nice photos in the woods.
For Carlene and Luke’s wedding day the sun was just as glorious. Beautiful blue sky, a gentle breeze and a beautiful venue. Donington Park Farmhouse is a great setting for a nice relaxed wedding. It was an extra special day for us as it was our three year anniversary since we got married there at Park Farmhouse ourselves.
We found Carlene and her three bridesmaids while they were having a their hair and makeup done and got some shots of the girls in their specially made pyjamas before they put on their beautiful purple dresses. Carlene looked stunning in her dress for which she had made a few trips to Doncaster to find.
The wedding ceremony went off without a hitch (excuse the pun!). Afterwards we all went outside to get some photos of the friends and family in front of the farmhouse before taking Carlene and Luke off for a short walk up the road to the yellow rapeseed field which made a stunning backdrop for photos.
While Carlene and Luke had their dinner we took the opportunity to set up the disco for the evening reception in the Threshing Barn ready for a disco filled with songs from Carlene’s favourite band, Take That, which brought tears to her eyes on a number of occasions (hopefully that was a good thing!).
We had a wonderful day there at Park Farmhouse and we would like to wish Carlene and Luke the very best for your future together…you’re a lovely couple!

Don’t forget to leave a comment for Carlene & Luke to read in the box below. Let them know what you thought of the day, or simply pass on your best wishes to them for their future together!
