Well, if there was an occasion for one of us to fall ill whilst working – this was it!! I have never seen so many medical people at one wedding! Ali is a doctor and Nick is a paramedic, so a large proportion of the guests worked at one hospital or another!
Ali got ready at the hotel, then off to the church in a couple of fantastic 1930s Rolls Royce Phantoms. The ceremony was great, some beautiful readings and great music choices including a piano player and a lovely song by one of the bridesmaids (Nat you were very brave!).
Ali & Nick only wanted a few group shots so we did those at the church before heading off to Ardencote for the drinks reception. We couldn’t have asked for a more picturesque setting; the lake, the swans, the perfect blue sky with fluffy white clouds and a beautifully dressed bridal party – I do love that purple!
After the speeches and the results of the quiz (Ali, Nick – I love the names of your chickens – we also have a ‘Brown One’!!) we photographed the first dance and the band (making sure no to miss the drummer Kevin AKA Ali’s Dad).
Everyone at the wedding was so friendly, we felt like part of the family by the end of the day. Thank you to everyone for making us feel so welcome – we had a great day and I hope you like the photos!
Don’t forget to leave a comment for Ali & Nick to read in the box below. Let them know what you thought of the day, or simply pass on your best wishes to them for their future together!
