Cressbrook Hall wedding photos
Cressbrook Hall Wedding
Being Derbyshire wedding photographers, a Cressbrook Hall wedding is a real treat – nestled right in the heart of the Peak District, not far from Bakewell, is this beautiful mansion house. It has gorgeous views over waters of Water-cum-Jolly Dale and is just up from Monsal Dale and Monsal Head. A great location! They also have the capacity for an outside ceremony which is awesome!
The morning of the wedding & the ceremony
Natalie got ready partly in the house and partly in one of the cottages at the end of the drive with her mum and bridesmaid. They had planned to get married outside, but the British weather wasn’t playing ball and instead they opted for the ceremony inside The Granary instead. That didn’t matter one bit as Natalie made her entrance (slightly late *cough*) looking stunning in her custom designed dress with her dad Paul by her side looking slightly emotional.
The grounds of Cressbrook Hall
After a lovely ceremony we headed downstairs for drinks and canapés and hoped the rain would pass before we started the group photos – no such luck, so we made use of the balcony upstairs for a few family photos. Afterwards, braving the rain, we headed outside for some photos – Natalie and Phil were awesome didn’t seem to mind one bit! It was pretty gross out there, but armed with a vintage umbrella, we took a wander around into the gardens there at Cressbrook Hall for a few photos before dinner.
Literally as soon as everyone sat down for dinner, it stopped raining – typical!! Thankfully, after dinner, the sun came out and we were able to have a few more photos where they would have been stood for the ceremony outdoors. It was great to see everyone else head outside to enjoy the views with a glass of wine – now that’s more like a summer wedding should be!
It was a great day, lots of love and laughter – Natalie & Phil are a great couple, we thought Natalie looked particularly lovely in her custom made dress – that shoulder detail is stunning! Loved Phil’s waistcoat too 🙂
