We did our first photo shoot with Emma & James when Nya was about 6 months old, now there’s a new addition, Poppy, so it was time to come and see us again. Emma wanted a few shots with the children in their Christmas outfits before changing into their normal clothes. Nya spent most of the time with me looking at our chickens before joining in with a few pictures towards the end. They are gorgeous children and a lovely family. Emma….we’ll see you again as soon as you decide to have another one!!

For those of you who don’t know Derby, The Roundhouse is a relatively recent addition to the wedding venues of the city, but what a venue it is!! Part of the college during the week, at the weekend it transforms into an unusual and very striking setting for a wedding. We loved shooting here, the architecture is wonderful and best of all Ben & Helen are a wonderful couple and we had great fun with them! They had obviously put a lot of thought into the styling – flowers to suit the season,  homemade jams for favours, a dressing up box for the evening and an autumnal themed cake to name just a few. Joanna and Matthew brought their son and daughter Harrison & Imogen to us to have a bit of fun in front of the camera and capture some relaxed photos of everyone together as a family. We had a great time and Harrison and Imogen spent ages laughing and giggling whilst rolling around on the floor….Great fun!! Here are a few of our favourites.

What a great couple these two are! Natalie is English with some French family and Eugenio is Spanish so you can imagine the cacophony of languages! Natalie got ready at the Channels Cottage before heading over to the Essex Barn for the ceremony which was over flowing with guests. Then outside to make the most of the grounds in the photos. The couple had had put an awful lots of thought into the styling of the wedding – beautiful pink gerberas, lovely cupcakes, great table plan, jigsaws, a quiz, a slideshow, live music – the list goes on! But what struck us most about this wedding was how nice everyone was and what a great couple Nat & Euge are! Here are a few of our favourites from from the day….

What a day in Nottinghamshire, we couldn’t believe how hot it was for the beginning of October!! Norwood Park is a beautiful venue, a very beautiful house and plenty of grounds for the photos. Hannah got ready in one of the rooms at Norwood and we joined her there as she had her hair and makeup done. After the ceremony we headed outside for all the photos and Hannah made excellent use of her decorative umbrella. They are a lovely couple and we had a wonderful day with them and here are just some of our favourite photos…

It’s fair to say that Sophie & David have picked one of the most beautiful venues in Northamptonshire! Not only was the venue amazing, but the weather was amazing too with clear blue skies and a lovely summer sun. After arriving early to set up the disco for the evening, we found Sophie getting ready in her room at the hotel with her bridesmaids and her dad doing a great job of the hair for all the girls. We took the chance to do some photos of David and his guys before Sophie made her grand entrance for the ceremony.

Sophie and Davids family were endless fun during all the group photos before we took the two of them for a little walk around the grounds to get some lovely shots in the sunshine before dinner.

Its clear that Sophie and David are meant for each other and the both beamed with smiles all day, right through until the last dance of the night. It was a great day and we wish Sophie & David all the luck in the world for their lives together!

The Old Vicarage Hotel in Worfield is not far from Bridgnorth and it’s a great Shropshire wedding venue – the house itself is attractive and the conservatory at the rear is lovely and light and makes a perfect ceremony room. Suzanne looked just stunning in a very simple but elegant dress and Simon scrubbed up well too! On the day we made use of the gardens and even the field next door to make the most of the scenery. We love the colours in these photos – they have a very autumnal feel!
