When you drive through the dense woodland that fringes the winding country lane that leads to The Priest House Hotel in Castle Donington, you discover a hotel in Derbyshire, which is perched in a picturesque setting on the banks of the River Trent. The original watermills on the site of The Priest House were mentioned in the Domesday Book in 1086. Today, this is a country house with a difference.
A beautiful old wedding venue with a modern touch to its interior decoration. We love this venue as it gives you so many opportunities for photos overlooking the river, standing on an old brick bridge, or in front of the original watermills…the possibilities are endless.
