We’re delighted to announce that we have just been given 5 awards by the Guild of Professional Wedding and Portrait Photographers, including 2 coveted silver awards.
The photos are judged by a panel of leading photographers and are given scores based on technical skill, originality, composition and the emotion portrayed by the subject. We try and make all of our clients feel as relaxed as possible and hopefully this shows through in our photos!

When you drive through the dense woodland that fringes the winding country lane that leads to The Priest House Hotel in Castle Donington, you discover a hotel in Derbyshire, which is perched in a picturesque setting on the banks of the River Trent. The original watermills on the site of The Priest House were mentioned in the Domesday Book in 1086. Today, this is a country house with a difference.
A beautiful old wedding venue with a modern touch to its interior decoration. We love this venue as it gives you so many opportunities for photos overlooking the river, standing on an old brick bridge, or in front of the original watermills…the possibilities are endless. If you’re looking for beautiful relaxed wedding photography then this is certainly somewhere we would recommend!
Emma and Gareth got married here in 2010…Check out their small gallery on our homepage or see the full wedding in the featured weddings in the Client Area!

Donington Park Farmhouse in Castle Donington, Derbyshire is one of the most unique and special venues around. Set in the heart of the Derbyshire countryside, this beautiful 17th century farm is a great venue for a relaxed wedding.
The seventeenth century farmhouse has a series of original brick & timber barns, sympathetically restored to create a beautiful collection of rooms suitable for weddings & parties. Surrounded by open fields you can’t help but get some stunning photos of your wedding day!
Two of the rooms in the barn complex are licensed for civil marriages. Dine in style in the Pig Sties! (these have to be seen to be believed…very unique!) Finish the evening off with a hog roast, BBQ, disco or barn dance.
Park farmhouse have their own meat available for your wedding and we thoroughly recommend their home grown venison!

It was a typical February day for this wedding – windy and very wet, but we all made the best of it! Mae arrived in a lovely horse and cart and then after a quick run into the church, there was a wonderful ceremony conducted by Damian’s family vicar. After a quick trip round the village in the cart, we went off as planned to Dimmings Dale – a beautiful Forestry Commission park. Mae swapped her beautiful wedding shoes for a pair of trainers and off we went for some romantic woodland photos. Then back to the local pub for their wedding breakfast and speeches.
